According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons injectable fillers continue to rise in their popularity. What can we expect in the future regarding our volume-enhancing love affair?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s New?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/devsparq.com\/bellissimo\/non-surgical\/injectables\/restylane\/\">Restylane<\/a> introduced a new filler, <a href=\"https:\/\/devsparq.com\/bellissimo\/non-surgical\/injectables\/restylane-kysse\/\">Kysse<\/a>, for the lips. This injectable product is FDA approved and is used to address volume and fine lines in the lips with minimal swelling. It can be used to create contour and has a natural feel to it. Galderma conducted a \u201cKissability Study\u201d where it was reported that 73% of patients\u2019 partners reported a more natural or kissable feel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/devsparq.com\/bellissimo\/non-surgical\/dermal-fillers\/juvederm\/\">Juvederm<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/devsparq.com\/bellissimo\/non-surgical\/dermal-fillers\/voluma\/\">Voluma<\/a> received FDA approval to be used in the chin and along the jawline. <a href=\"https:\/\/devsparq.com\/bellissimo\/non-surgical\/dermal-fillers\/voluma\/\">Voluma<\/a> has previously been used to enhance the cheeks and midface. This is the first time a filler has been approved to be used outside of the lip and cheek areas. A contoured jawline and chin enhancement can be done with beautiful results using <a href=\"https:\/\/devsparq.com\/bellissimo\/non-surgical\/dermal-fillers\/juvederm\/\">Juvederm<\/a> Voluma.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clinical trials continue to be done for FDA approval with new injectable fillers. Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers such as <a href=\"https:\/\/devsparq.com\/bellissimo\/non-surgical\/dermal-fillers\/juvederm\/\">Juvederm<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/devsparq.com\/bellissimo\/non-surgical\/injectables\/restylane\/\">Restylane<\/a> will have to move over for some new volume enhancers distributed by Revance called RHA 2, RHA 3, and RHA 4. They are currently available in Europe and are hoping to move stateside soon. They have fewer chemical modifications and cross-linking in longer chains of hyaluronic acid. Simply put, they are made with fewer modifications, therefore they more closely resemble the natural results seen by the hyaluronic acid in our body. These fillers can be used for contouring the face and adding subtle volume without looking \u201coverdone\u201d. Something to look forward to!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using Fat to Fill: <a href=\"https:\/\/devsparq.com\/bellissimo\/procedures\/body\/fat-transfer-body\/\">Fat transfers<\/a> are becoming more common and can add subtle volume to the face. A facelift procedure may include adding fat around the mouth to replace volume that is lost during the aging process.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The microdroplet injection technique, using small microdoses of filler or neurotoxin, can be used in different areas of the face to add volume or smooth out fine lines. This is becoming a popular method of injection. <a href=\"https:\/\/devsparq.com\/bellissimo\/non-surgical\/injectables\/microtox\/\">MicroTox<\/a>\u00ae is used for tightening of the face, jaw, and neck as well as smooths pores, reduces facial flushing, and decreases sebum production.
