First, we will apply a topical numbing cream to the lips to numb the area and ease discomfort. We will use a very small needle to inject the dermal fillers into your lips. Post-injection we encourage using ice to control swelling.<\/p>\n Your lips will swell – but don\u2019t panic! Over the course of a few days (typically around 2-4 days), the swelling of your lips will decrease to your desired result and will start to feel more natural.<\/p>\n You should avoid lipstick and other lip products immediately following the procedure.<\/p>\n As with anything, there is always the chance of side effects or risks.
